ModernART welcomes you back to care!
This week, we are launching our back to care campaign. Over the next three weekends we will be at various locations across Soweto hosting activations. Our activators will be on site to answer your questions about ART (antiretroviral therapy; HIV medicine; ARVs).
Research from Anova has revealed that high numbers of healthcare users have stopped their HIV treatment since the COVID Pandemic. We are working alongside Anova to encourage users to come back to care.
We understand that there are various reasons why people living with HIV might stop going to the clinic and taking their ARVs (sometimes called defaulting) . But the most important thing is to return to care and start taking your treatment again so that you can live a healthy life!
Remember, nobody is allowed to deny you access to medication even if you have defaulted. You have every right to go back to the clinic and start again, where you left off.

- November 25th: Lilian Ngoyi CHC
- December 9th: Michael Maponya Clinic.
